Mechanical parts and assemblies, including lens cells and telescope tubes, are manufactured by selected regional partners.
Our manufacturing partners use both conventional machine tools and modern CNC machining centers.
Precision milling and turning operations can accommodate parts weighing up to 250 kg and materials including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, steel, cast steel, brass, bronze, copper, special alloys (nickel, molybdenum, titanium), cast magnesium and engineering plastics.
Measuring and testing technology
Alongside conventional inspection equipment, modern CNC coordinate-measuring and dimensional-measurement systems from established manufacturers are used for production quality assurance.
